Bio Box India is a start-up family venture which was commenced in the year 2018 with the zeal of not only reducing the usage of plastic waste in food industry but also promoting healthier alternatives to it. We take the pleasure in introducing ourselves as an innovative company working hard towards disposable products that are an eco-friendly alternative to conventional disposable plates i.e. alternative for plastic tableware. Undoubtedly, it is a difficult task to convert everything in this world to environment friendly, But initiative can be started from our home. If we replace our single-use plastic products with biodegradable Areca palm leaf dinnerware, we can save a lot of waste that goes to our landfills. The environmental pollution has taken a toll on the marine life around the world. Plastic is ingested by the marineand other animals as well unknowingly. The microplastics has also eventually entered our food-chain. Therefore, we as humans must repay for the damage that we have done to our mother nature.

Though plastic is light weight, easy to carry food and dispose of, there are a number of health risks associated with long term use of plastic products for food packaging.

- Styrofoam contains the chemical styrene, which has been linked to cancer, vision and hearing loss, impaired memory and concentration, and nervous system effects.
